Eponine is our very favorite character in Les Mis. She's actuly kind of a a minor charcter. She's the daughter of the inkeeper, Thénardier, who "took care of" Cosette as a child. She's best friends with Marius and is secretly in love with him. She dies in his arms on the barricade sometime during the first attack.
If you've ever seen the play then you probably know all that already.
On My Own is her only solo song and the favorite
of both Penny and Robin.
